GX Media Website Design and Development

This is an archived copy of what the GX Media website looked like in 2006. We were going for a minimalist look back then and simply wanted to offer links to the most pertinent information about our services. As you can see, it took us a few years to finally find a website layout and design that truly suited our needs.

The old GX Media site was designed in Adobe Photoshop with the .PSD file split into slices, which created a series of images that comprised the final layout. We also experimented with adding sound to the site, which is typically taboo for web designers (the sound would have been removed in the final version). Ultimately, this version of our website never really got off the ground but still served as a learning experience in creating a website in Photoshop from a series of graphics and images (and sound). By the way, the people pictured on the site are Brian Greer (left) and George Rogers (right).
