The Premier Wrestling Alliance was an independent professional wrestling organization based out of East Tennessee that ran shows from 2003-2004. The group was the spiritual successor to the PWF Mid-South organization which folded in 2002. GX Media shot and produced three DVD’s for PWA during the course of their run.
In addition to providing videography and post-production services, GX Media also distributes PWA videos on the web. The finished DVD’s are available in the GX Media store and are described in detail below.

PWA Redemption

“Redemption” was the first ever show promoted under the PWA banner, and it picks up right where PWF Mid-South ended. The name may have changed, but the faces (and heels) stayed the same. The event took place on June 14, 2003 in Rockwood, Tennessee and featured these matches:
- Robbie Race vs. Menace – PWA Title Match
- Shane Williams vs. Rich Kavana – Retirement Match
- Phoenix Foundation vs. Loco & Shawn Shultz
- Extreme Rumble for Iron Man Title
This show features one camera angle and live commentary by Chad Taylor & Rich Kavana. The DVD features animated menus with match selection, “hidden” bonus footage and Dolby 2.0 stereo sound. The disc was mastered from the original digital source tapes. The show was shot with a Sony PD150.
PWA Act of Defiance

“Act of Defiance” was the next-to-last show promoted under the PWA banner and featured several inter-promotional title matches with stars from the NWA. The event took place on March 12, 2004 in Knoxville, Tennessee and featured these matches:

“Dead End” was the last show promoted by the Premier Wrestling Alliance. This was a special benefit show for the mentally handicapped that featured the long-awaited rematch between Robbie Race and Rich Kavana. This event took place on May 8, 2004 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and featured these matches:
