Professional wrestler Filthy Rich Kavana came to GX Media with the idea of producing a series of career retrospective DVD’s. We were more than happy to oblige the wealthy wrestler with his blatant act of self-promotion, and over the course of three years, Brian Greer shot a series of vignettes which were edited together with existing wrestling footage to produce the Filthy Rich Kavana Trilogy.

This series of videos highlights just how colorful Kavana’s comedic “heel” character truly is. The discs are loaded with comedy, both intentional and unintentional, and Kavana is never one to mince words about his fellow wrestlers. GX Media shot the interview segments on volumes 2 and 3 against a green screen and used a chroma-key effect to add an extra layer of production value. In fact, in one of these scenes, Filthy Rich gets into a fight… with himself! Greer also designed the cover art for the DVD’s, which helped make the Filthy One even more $$$ when he sold them to fans at wrestling shows. The finished DVD’s are available in the GX Media store and are described in detail below.
